Fellowship in Clinical AI
Job Description
We invite applications for Cohort 3 of the Fellowship in Clinical Artificial Intelligence. We seek
energetic and smart UK clinicians who want to develop expertise in clinical Artificial Intelligence (AI)
in an integrated pathway alongside their work or training. Fellows will implement groundbreaking
work in the use of state-of-the-art AI software in live hospital environments.
Fellows are attached to a clinical AI project at an NHS Trust for 12 months. This will involve the safe
deployment, maintenance, and evaluation clinical AI software in a live clinical workflow. Fellows are
supervised in their post by a supervisor in clinical AI. Fellows are supported to present and publish
findings from work in this post, which may include clinical trials and quality improvement projects in
the deployment of AI.
Fellows gain skills and knowledge relevant to the life cycle of healthcare AI from a programme of
teaching aligned with the Clinical AI Curriculum developed by the faculty. This includes bespoke live
masterclass workshops and self-paced remote learning.
